The QuarkNet @ Columbia Teacher Institute was a three week exploration for high school physics teachers into the topic of high energy physics.

All activities took place at Nevis Laboratory, in Irvington, NY, from June 25th to July 13th.  Irvington is in southern Westchester county, off the Saw Mill Parkway, close to the Tappan Zee Bridge.

The institute was run by lead teachers Bill Metzler (Highland High School) & Eric Tucker (John Jay H.S. - Katonah) in close cooperation with Bill Willis of Nevis Labs (Columbia U.)
