ACME is a simulation of ultra-high energy photons in the geomagnetic field. It is intended to work as a pre-shower simulation which tracks incoming Ultra High Energy photons and their decay products from reactions with the Earth's magnetic field before they reach the atmosphere. As they enter the atmosphere, propagation of the extensive air shower is provided by the existing simulations (CORSIKA and SENECA).
I am using this simulation to produce Monte Carlo data of UHECR photons and compare this with the HiRes data. This comparison should give us an upper bound on the fraction of our highest energy events that could be photons. The latest version is v1.0, released on March 6th, 2008.
