In Lab 17, use a '74LS503 instead of a '74LS402. Be sure to connect
pin 1 to GND to Enable this SAR device, which is otherwise identical
to the '74LS402.

- Before class, read Chapters 2, 3 and 6
in the "Rapid Prototyping" book.
- Finish Lab 17 (sections 17-1 and 17-2 only).
Wed. Apr. 23
- Pack up the breadboard lab setup and start work
with the UP2 setup.
- Lecture #13 - More on Digital
Logic
- Begin "Tutorial I" (Chapter 1) with the UP2 Design
Lab Kit setup.
- Do sections 1.1 through 1.6, and 1.9 through 1.12. In
section 1.14, perform Lab Exercises 4, 5, 10, 16.
Week of Apr. 28

- Continue "Tutorial I" (sections 1.1 through 1.6, and
1.9 through 1.12, plus section 1.14 Lab Exercises 4, 5, 10, 16).
- Start "Tutorial II" (Chapter 4). Do
all sections. In section 4.9, do Lab Exercises 2, 3, 4, 6, and
11 (LPM_ADD_SUB only).
Wed. Apr. 30
- Read Chapter 9 in the "Rapid Prototyping"
book.
- When you are finished the exercises in
"Tutorial II", begin working through Chapter 9. In addition
to the examples given, perform the following lab exercises
of section 9.15: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6.
- Time permitting, start working through the examples of
Chapter 7.
