Josh Spitz is an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder, received his Ph.D. at Yale University, and was a Pappalardo Fellow at MIT before joining the faculty at Michigan in 2015. Josh likes to ski, fly fish, and play chess. Most of all, however, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracey, and four kids.

Daniel Winklehner is a Research Scientist at MIT. He graduated with a M.Sc. from the Vienna University of Technology and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University before joining MIT as a Postdoctoral Associate in 2013. Since 2018 he is a Research Scientist. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys hiking and mountain climbing with his family, as well as building things with his hands.
