Modeling the Cross-Section

• PDFs extracted from CCFR data exploiting symmetries:

  • Isospin symmetry: up=dn , dp=uu , and strange = anti-strange

• LO quark-parton model tuned to agree with data

• with inputs from many experiments:

• (SLAC, BCDMS, NMC, EMC, NUSEA)

  • This model "tuning" is crucial!
