SUMMARY: The best and the worsest bit error rates maesured: - TAB(#0) -> fiber(no.1) -> VTM(#561030)-ch0 -> FIC(#007)-ch0 -> MBT(#3)-ch1 ==> 3.5e-4 - TAB(#0) -> fiber(no.4) -> VTM(#561030)-ch3 -> FIC(#007)-ch3 -> MBT(#3)-ch4 ==> 4.6e-5 To check whether such poor performance for VTM-ch0 was due to optical fiber no.1 I've swapped fibers no.1 and no.2 at VTM's inputs. Two tests based on 10k broadcasts each from TAB card to VTM's channel 0 and 1 confirmed similar bit-error rates (and event loss rates) as described in points III. and IV. It seems that either VTM-ch0 or FIC ch-0 has a problem. MBT-ch1 can be safely ruled out, as it was extensively tested before with fake event generator at 5kHz rate w/o any transmission error. But even resuts for VTM ch.3 are not impressive at the moment.
