Paul Padley" Cc: "'D0 Run2b L1Cal Trigger'" Hi Paul, The data that we sent to tape yesterday was simulated(fake) data generated at VRB using an excel spreadsheet program that we have. We couldn't do the ADF-TAB-TAPE test yesterday because I had some problem in my private version of TAB firmware but it's trivial now to do this test. Infact we are going to do ADF-TAB-TAPE test today. Since the Unpacker that Todd have unpacks only the TAB data(he sent out a mail regarding this a couple of days ago) so we can't unpack the fake data generated at VRB. We took couple of runs for simulated data and verified that it is sent to tape. The following runs are written to tape: 206685 and 206688. The raw data file at tape is data_test_0000206688.raw. This raw data file is also available on /scratch disk of d0ol55 and hexdump of this raw data with name data_daq.txt As a next step we will send the TAB and ADF data to tape for unpacking purposes. I believe we managed to complete this task within stipulated time.
