Discussion of Action Items from Saclay Workshop

1) 10-bit TT raw E
  - Questions
    . 10-bit could provide a history of the crossing around it with
      finer sampling than BX and also for multiple BXs
    . are there any other issues than determining filter param's?
  - Multiple BXs could be provided using 8-bit values from TAB
    . need to work out how this would work
    . would not give oversampling
  - Who can we ask to get more input on this?
    . Jim L., Bob K., Jet E-scale group...
  - If use ADF to save 10-bit samples how can we choose specific
    triggers to do this?
    a) ADF internal trigger mode: self-triggers on TT over threshold
       . this is probably easiest way to do it
    b) special trigger qualifier bit
    ==> new action item: how long would it take to collect data
        required to determine filter param's? How many measurements
	per threshold for a given TT are required?
	(Denis will need to comment on this)

2) Cabling the System
  - Dan is at MSU - has not had a chance to look at this specifically
    . will be at Fermilab next week

3) Parallel Commissioning
  - Note: no matter what happens in terms of schedule, it will be
    easiest to build the entire system outside of the MCH
  - Timescale
    . whether we need to do this parallel commissioning or not (build
      more splitters) will depend on how the schedule goes
      > if things are on time ==> will not be necessary
      > should talk with D0 management about whether getting another
        group to build more boards is possible

4) Prototype Integration
  - Dan is at MSU - will talk with him next week at Fermi

5) Trigger Terms from the GAB
  - Involvement of other groups than Nevis?
    . no one has volunteered yet - but we should look for groups
    . Trigger Board?

6) Cal-Track Match Data
  - Have not talked with Ken about this yet
    . he previously expressed interest in doing these studies

7) Next Workshop
  - send thoughts...
  - should keep this small and specific enough to really be a workshop
    . might not want to have an overall trigger workshop
