MSU:
----

o Testing ADF firmware in preparation for ADF-to-TAB tests at Fermilab
  - basically ready to go with this



Nevis: TAB/GAB (H.Evans)
--------------

o Received G-Link Receiver Test Board from Fabrication. 
  - Assembled in house today. 
  - Will start tests tomorrow.

o Should get VME/SCL boards in next day or so
  - will also assemble these in house


BLS-to-ADF Transition System (A.Stone)
----------------------------

o Hinged Patch Panel assemblies arrived last week
  - all are now here (40 + spares)
  - 12 to be installed in three racks on sidewalk
    . 1 rack already done, next 2 tomorrow
  - this 3-rack setup will allow to test all possible cable
    routing/bundling schemes

o 25 Faceplates for ATCs came in yesterday
  - Jorge has installed these on the 12-14 good ATCs
    . some of the ATCs are significantly warped
  - the rest of these faceplates have 4 week turnaround
    . working on getting this reduced
  - some problems with size of faceplates
    . too big to fully populate crate
    . will be corrected by vendor

o Warped ATCs
  - vendor will redo 12 of these
    . delivery of 75+12 ATCs by Aug. 10
  - assembly by a different vendor by Aug. 15

o Patch Panel Cards
  - full production should arrive Aug. 15

o Final batch of Patch Panel cards are also out

o Glenair test board
  - still going ahead with production of these
  - should be available next week

o Transition System Testing
  - Jorge and Alan working on document describing strategy

o L1Cal-Track patch cables and daughtercards are in hand



Pulser Status (P.Renkel)
-------------

o New GUI Installed online
  - will release it under p16.01
  - doesn't (yet) work under latest code version



Software Status (S.Lammers)
---------------

o Using Todd's unpacker
  - a lot of infrastructure is set up here to help doing TT vs
    precision readout comparison
    . based on current Examine that compares current TTs w/ precision
      readout
    . some questions about what are the appropriate sampling
      weights to use and where to get them


Simulation (W.Taylor)
----------

o Creating temporary .sim files for running simulator
  - these will be created later by COOR

o tsim_l1cal2b is runnable now - main functionality exists
  - still a few trigger terms missing
  - also missing: L3 unpacker


Level-2
-------

o Rumor is that Roger has just written a L2Cal worker

o L2 studies are ongoing



Test System (L.Bagby)
-----------

o Daily "Toolbox" Meetings ongoing
  - 9:00am in the DAB1 lunch room
  - EVERYONE at Fermilab is encouraged to attend

o ADF to TAB Tests
  - Rahmi has documented BER tests

o TAB to L2/L3
  - "g-link" errors have been resolved. Due to
    . noisy "Word Error" lines on FIC Channel 0
      > fixed for one type of error by installing capacitor
    . bad VTM

o GAB to L2
  - no transmission errors detected

o Power Supply Monitoring using EPICS
  - developing a GUI for this
