Test Area: (Bagby/Mulhearn)

o Working on TAB Chip-10 firmware

o Ready for ORC for L2 tests

o New firmware version for VRB to allow BER tests (from Mark Bowden)
  - changeable by DIP switches

o Transition system
  - logbook entries mailed to group this morning
  - main remaining issue is strain relief of ADF-to-TAB cables
  - have three racks essentially done
    . took approximately a day to do this

o Schedule Items
  - Transition system (~1 crate): done
  - TAB to L2/L3: g-link transmission tested on level 0f 10M events
    . some firmware issues remain w/ event formatting in TAB (chip-10)
  - Latency (GAB-to-TFW)
    . rough estimate (fifo length at TFW) ~11 CLK7 ticks
    . note: this is far below the limit of 3300 ns




Integration to Physics Commissioning: (S.Lammers)
