Luminosity Spectrometer Monte Carlo

 

Fast simulation for the Lumi spectrometer:

 The fast simulation for the ZEUS luminosity spectrometer is written in C++ and integrated with ROOT environment. It parametrizes important physics processes and detector response as well.  Look at the description of the classes GenGamma, LumiFast, source code and the example macro.

Geant simulation for the Lumi spectrometer:

The ZEUS luminosity spectrometer detector response is simulated by the Geant 3.21 package from CERN. The functionality of the program is the same as the one used at the E896 BNL experiment. Namely lumiGeant has a very user friendly interface so that the user can run it immediately. Detailed instructions can be found in the lumiGeant manual:
