How to use slow control to switch on the Charge and Light tests?

login to luxury as lumi

run the slow control
scm --force

choose "m" for manager

log in with your name and password

from the menu choose "existing"
click on "file" button and choose file
setup/spec-system.vhd

click on next

from the menu choose "queued" with queue number=1

Light test:
-----------

 in enable tests:
12 = Light test Down
13 = Light test Up

click "L" to Load selected options

the amplitude is selected through rows 2 and 3
if amplitude is below the LED treshold, there is no signal

The timing is selected through rows 5 and 6
First number is delay, the second is pulse width.
(Don't change them unless you are an expert!)

Charge test:
------------

 from enable tests choose option "2"
 click on "L" to load this option
 the delay and the pulse width are selected in row 7
 (don't change them unless you are an expert!)

 The charge tests are selected channel by channel however
 Click on e.g. "front end - 1 " button
 Row 3 selects the pulse amplitude (4000 recommended)
   
 In row 13 you select which channels to pulse. Click on "L" to load
 the changes.
