Define:
significance = Nsignal/sqrt(Nbkg)
Nsignal = number of signal events in SR with ph_t > 2 ns
Nbkg = scaled* number of data events in CR with ph_t > 2 ns
*scaled --> scale the data events in the CR to the number in the SR (using the timing shape of the CR)
