| Currently I am a visiting assistant professor at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. My research interests are in high-energy nuclear physics and specifically how jets interact with the nuclear environment as a tool for precision QCD studies. I am an active member of the PHENIX collaboration. |

| An important part of any scientist's job is to teach and mentor the next generation of participating citizens. My experience shows me that students learn best by doing. Therefore, much like learning an instrument: practice makes perfect. In fact, my band instructor told me “perfect practice makes perfect”. That is, students learn best when they practice physics correctly. It is my job as instructor to facilitate the environment of students learning physics by practicing perfectly. |
