This is file http://www.columbia.edu/~seligman/ccfr/results/WHATS_NEW 27-Sep-1999: The files f2-model-corr.table and xf3-model-corr.table have been corrected yet again. The previous versions of these tables did not make appropriate allowances for the strange-sea correction associated with xF3 (which also affects the F2 calculation). See the text for 29-Jul-97 below for a description of the contents of these files. 20-Apr-1999: The files f2-model-corr.table and xf3-model-corr.table have been corrected again. The previous versions of these tables essentially applied the corrections in the wrong direction! See the text for 29-Jul-97 below for a description of the contents of these files. 07-Jan-99: The tables f2-fluxerr.table and xf3-fluxerr.table in the results/ directory had a labeling error and a mis-calculated column. This problem has been fixed. See the the thesis errata page at . 19-May-98: Added a new file xf3-sea-corr.table, which gives the ratio: xF3 (no s-c correction) / xF3 (with s-c correction) There is a separate correction listed for neutrinos and anti-neutrinos. In theory, if you multiply the published xF3 by the columns in this table, you'll get xF3(neutrino) and xF3(anti-neutrino) separately. In practice, what you'll get is the strange sea as measured in the leading-order CCFR dimuon analysis. (Yes, the negative numbers in the anti-neutrino ratio are correct: at low x and low Q2 xF3(anti-neutrino) is negative.) 27-Oct-97: The values from converting the CCFR neutrino-iron data to an "electron-proton" equivalent are in sub-directory ccfrp/. 26-Sep-97: The article on these data has been published: Phys. Rev. Lett. 79: 1213 (1997). 29-Jul-97: ------------------ IMPORTANT! -------------------- The files f2-model-corr.table and xf3-model-corr.table in the results/ directory were incorrect and have been replaced. These files contain tables of the adjustments to be made to the structure functions to REMOVE the physics model corrections applied as part of the analysis (if you want to know how much the actual correction was, just take 1/[number in table]). These files are meant to be used by those who want to replace the model corrections I used with corrections of their own (e.g., using a NLO charm-threshold correction instead of the LO correction). 4-Jun-97: Added file avg-qqbar.txt, which contains structure functions F2 and xF3 as a function of x averaged over Q2 and displayed at Q2 = 12.6 GeV**2. These values are the same as shown in Figures 6.24 and 6.25 in Seligman's thesis.
