Create the templates for the (non-XS) module
```
     h2xs -AXcfn E910::Trans
```

Continuing on...

go to the new directory
```
     cd E910/Trans/
```
edit the .pm file
```
     % emacs Trans.pm
```
edit the test script
```
     % emacs test.pl 
```
edit .cvsignore to make sure the files *~ and Makefile are ignored
cd ../../
mv E910/Trans E910-Trans/
cd E910-Trans

import the files to repository

     % cvs import -m "initial import" e910perl/cvssrc/E910-Trans winter-ltd start
     I e910perl/cvssrc/E910-Trans/Makefile
     I e910perl/cvssrc/E910-Trans/.cvsignore~
     N e910perl/cvssrc/E910-Trans/Trans.pm
     N e910perl/cvssrc/E910-Trans/Makefile.PL
