The Battle

There was a brief battle during the course of the evening. Cetacea, leader of the People of the Sea, was irritated because she did not receive an invitation to the Meeting of the Races. She complained loudly to Gaia, and harsh words passed between them. Trex tried to intervene, Gnasher Grimtooth objected, and weapons were drawn.

The battle begins. From left to right, we see: Joe the Bartender; Kanita the warrior princess moves forward into battle; Bill Seligman looks away in terror; Vito considers the situation; Trex moves to the offense with a polearm; Hippocrates contemplates whether either combatant will be wounded, and if his oath would apply to someone without insurance; Louie the Loser stands back; Vanessa smiles to herself as the plans of her master unfurl; Forty-five Jaguars hopes that blood will be shed; and Gnasher Grimtooth defends himself.
The battle is interrupted! Benny the Teapot and Vito get between the combatants and force them to calm down. Note Forty-five Jaguars getting excited in the background... but he remembers just in time that only the foam staves are allowed in Mystic Realms combat.
Vito doesn't let down her guard until everyone else backs off. Forty-five Jaguars is in contempt of that weapon -- they call it a "gun"? -- as it is in no way sharp enough to extract a still-beating heart.
