The Social Hour

The game ends. The party guests chat and get to know each other as themselves, instead of the characters they played.

It looks like Robin and John haven't fully dropped their characters yet.
Geela, Bill, and John pose for a shot. After we took this picture, I said, "It's like old times again. Let's go and kill a troll!" Here's why I said that.
A high-resolution shot of John and Geela. They're both experienced role-players; note the details on their costumes. Look at John's make-up; that's not his real hair, it's a wig. Geela's costume was loaded with dangling pouches, mathoms, and nick-nacks that a Hobbit would carry. By the way, John and Geela win the longevity award: they were also at my 30th birthday party ten years ago.
From left to right: Bobbi, Rosemary, Sean, and Vann chuckle over events at the party.
The make-up starts coming off. From left to right: Susan, Mark, Nancy, Rosemary, and Steve.
They're beginning to realize that the party is over. From left to right: Phil, Susan, Robin, Deborah, Dan, Rosemary, and Steve. I'm poking out of the lower right-hand corner.
I'm talking on the phone to Walter. On the left is Michele, on the right is Dan. By the way, Dan and Robin win the long-distance award: they flew 800 miles from Chicago to attend the party.
The party would not have happened without Tony Kukal. Looks like a nice fellow without the Van Dorn make-up, doesn't he? Only his friends know that he is even more clever and wiley than Van Dorn; if Tony was running the People of the Dark, the human race would never have had a chance. Hmm, maybe he is, and maybe we don't! Try not to think about it!
I have no idea what I'm doing in this shot. It looks as though I'm saying, "If I did smoke cigarettes, this is how I'd look." And of course, the brand I'd smoke is... Winston's!
It looks like I had a good time... and I did!
